This Privacy Policy sets out the processing of personal data provided or collected by Dreamtonics Co. Ltd. that publishes this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to Dreamtonics’ software product Vocoflex.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Vocoflex End-User License Agreement. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in the Vocoflex End-User License Agreement.

1. About Us

Dreamtonics Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (together referred to as “Dreamtonics”, “we” or “us”) act as the personal data processor for your personal information.

Vocoflex is a software created by us and we hold all the intellectual property rights of Vocoflex.

2. What personal information do we collect?

We endeavor to collect and process only the information necessary to provide our services and prevent Vocoflex from being abused.

  • Account Information. Your account information, including name, email address, phone number, address, etc.
  • Payment Information. Your payment processor account and payment method used on our e-commerce platforms.
  • Personal Identification Information. Photos of your government-issued identification or other personal identity certificate (“ID Document”) for the purpose of identity verification.
  • Facial recognition information. A facial picture of you collected through a web camera or smartphone for the purpose of identity verification.
  • Device Information. Data used to identify your computer equipment, such as computer brand and model, hardware serial number, IP address, microphone and audio devices, etc.
  • Geographic Location Information. Consent to provide precise geographic location information or approximate geographic location information for the purpose of obtaining services in a specific country or area.
  • Usage Data. Data about your activities and use of Vocoflex, including product interactions, crash data and other diagnostic data, and other usage data.
  • Other Information. Other information you provide to us. For example, details of your communications with us, including the content of your interactions with customer support personnel, and content related to contact through social media channels.

3. How do we collect your personal information?

You provide most of the personal information we collect directly to us, some of your personal information will be collected by the third party we engaged (“Engaged Party”). We and the Engaged Party collect and process your personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Ordering Vocoflex or related services online;
  • Registering an activation code for Vocoflex. Before you use Vocoflex for the first time, you need to complete an identity verification process and register your activation code. The identity verification process involves uploading photos of your ID Document and performing the facial recognition process online. We engage TEEMO TECHNOLOGY LTD., a British Company (Website: https://www.complycube.com/en/, operating with the trademark “ComplyCube”, referred to “ComplyCube” herein after) to collect and temporarily store the photos of your ID Document and the facial recognition information and process the online identity verification.
  • To license us to verify your computing device when using Vocoflex or related services;
  • To license us to obtain information about your geographic location when using Vocoflex or related services;
  • To allow us to record and use your activity and usage data in Vocoflex or related services.
  • Voluntarily completing customer surveys, participating in software testing, leaving comments or feedback on any of our social media or providing feedback via email.

4. How do we use your personal information?

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide support for our services;
  • To process your transactions and fulfill contracts with you;
  • To communicate with you about your account or your transactions with us, and to send you information or request feedback about changes to Vocoflex or related services or our policies;
  • Provides a personalized recommendation service to recommend Vocoflex and related services or third party products and services to you;
  • To implement security and fraud prevention measures and to comply with the law;
  • To complete identity verification prior to registering an activation code for Vocoflex and thereby enabling the software license, and to prevent the generation of harmful contents and copyright infringement through Vocoflex.
  • Your ID document and facial recognition information are strictly limited to the use for completing the identity verification. These documents will be permanently deleted after the completion of the identity verification process. No third party except us and ComplyCube may access these documents during the process of identity verification, and we will not provide these documents to any third party at any time.
  • We may also use your personal information for other purposes with your consent.

5. How do we protect and store your personal information?

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, to ensure that our process of your personal information comply with laws, and to prevent unauthorized access, as well as leakage, alteration and loss.

We will store your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless required or permitted by law to store your personal information for a longer period of time, and we will delete your personal information or anonymize your personal information upon expiration of that period.

Your photos of ID Document and facial recognition information will be collected and stored by ComplyCube. These personal information will be collected and stored following the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy of ComplyCube.

Complying with the above Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy of ComplyCube, your ID Document, facial pictures recognition information and other personal identity verification documents and information (if any) will be permanently removed from ComplyCube immediately once the identity verification process is completed. After that, no one may access such identity verification information.

6. What are your personal information protection rights?

Your information protection rights are:

  • Access, copy, supplement, correct, and delete the personal information we hold about you;
  • To refuse or restrict our use of your personal information;
  • To request us to explain the rules for handling your personal information.

7. Children’s personal information

Our websites, products and services are primarily intended for adults. A child must not create an account or participate in software testing or customer surveys without the consent of a parent or guardian. If a child’s personal information is collected with prior parental consent, we will only use or disclose the information as permitted by law, with the explicit consent of the child’s parents or guardians, or when necessary for the protection of the child. If we accidentally collect a child’s personal information without verified prior consent from the child’s parents, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible.

Your ID Document, facial verification information and other personal identity verification documents and information (if any) are collected and stored on the server of ComplyCube. Agreeing to conduct your personal identity verification process shall be deemed as you accepting that ComplyCube stores your ID Document, facial verification information and other personal identity verification documents and information on ComplyCube’s server in the United Kingdom or another country, and such personal information will be transferred following the Privacy Policy of ComplyCube.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy shall come into effect as of the date first written above.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that it is consistent with new technologies, industry practices , and regulatory requirements or for other purposes. If we revise our Privacy Policy, we will post the most recent version of it on Vocoflex, our website, or in other ways that comply with applicable law. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy and applicable law requires it, we will obtain your consent.

The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy of ComplyCube will be revised from time to time. The most recent version of it will be published on the website of ComplyCube. We will inform you if ComplyCube makes material changes to its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and applicable law requires it.
